How this neat little tool works is you take and drill and tap (or weld like I did) an eyebolt in each of your valves (old ones of course!). Then install these valves into the block with the spring and retainer setup you plan on racing. Then you put the loop of one eyebolt over the hook of the scale. With one hand put the tip of your index finger on the edge of the vavle. With the other hand slightly pull down on the block. At the instant you feel the valve break the seal you look at the scale to see what it it reading and that is your valve seat pressure. Then do the other. For the Dyno-Cams 95-3 right now everyone is running about 14lbs on the intake and 16lbs on the exhaust for un-restricted stock enginges. You may have to play around with it to hit the right setup for your track.
